ふたたび，助動詞
すでに助動詞 can は習っています。
今回は will や may, must, shall などを学習します。
動詞の前にプラスするだけで，いろいろな意味を加えることができます。
助動詞の後ろに続く動詞が常に 【 原形 】になるというのも魅力的ですね。
１ 助動詞のはたらき
① その名のとおり，動詞の前について動詞を助けるはたらきをする。
② 助動詞があると，動詞はかならず原形になる。
③ 疑問文をつくるときは，助動詞を主語の前に出せばよい。
④ 否定文をつくるときは，助動詞の後ろにｎｏｔをつければよい。
２ 助動詞の種類
中学校で習う主な助動詞は次のとおりです。| can | ～することができる |
| May I ～? | ～してもいいですか？ |
| will | ～するつもり，でしょう |
| Shall I ～? | ～しましょうか？ |
| must | ～しなければならない |
| Will you ～? | ～してくれませんか？ |
| may | ～してもよい |

３ 助動詞の言い換え
「書き換え問題」によく出題されるので，しっかり覚えましょう！
can ＝ be able to --
will ＝ be going to --
must ＝ have / has to --
４ 助動詞の過去形
助動詞の過去形には，共通の特徴があります。
can → could
will → would
shall → should
★ mustに過去形はないので，had toで言い換えます。
