これは，オーストリアを代表する作曲家・モーツァルトについての読み物教材です。
≪ It --- to ～. ≫ 構文が使われていますので，中学３年生で使用していましたが，分かりやすい英文ですので中学２年生でも十分に楽しめると思います。
音楽家として成功を収めたあと，彼はどんな生活を送っていたのでしょう。

次の物語を読んで，後の問いに答えなさい。
One morning a pretty girl was playing the piano. Her father was giving a lesson to her. He was a famous musician in Austria. His little son was sitting by the piano, too.
They finished the lesson. "May I play the music, Father?" asked the boy. He was only three years old then. "Oh, no. You are too young. It's too difficult for you （ ① ）," answered his father.
